The Salmon Arm Bike For Your Life Century Ride is located at Blackburn Park in Salmon Arm, BC, the “Gem of the Shuswap”. Salmon Arm is located on Highway #1 half way between Calgary and Vancouver. The City of Salmon Arm is on the southern shore of Shuswap Lake. The area is well known as a paradise for year-round outdoor sports, including cycle touring.

The City of Salmon Arm and the Shuswap are surrounded by the Shuswap Highlands. These mountains and valleys provide economic benefits through wood harvesting and agriculture, as well as abundant recreation in the form of mountain biking, road biking, cross-country skiing, hiking, hunting and motorized sports. The fertile river valleys, many lakes and rich forests of the Shuswap Highlands have provided a diverse economic base for the growth of Salmon Arm since the late 1800’s.
