“The course could not have been more beautiful and was well-marked.  Everyone was so friendly and helpful… , also thank you for the 3K of downhill on the return–I crossed the finish line with my hair standing on end but it was a lot of fun. ”   – Kim

“What a great event! Our family did the 35 km ride and had a great time. Lunch was excellent and I tried to thank all your volunteers for coming out and the weather was nice for September… will see you next year.” – Dave & family

“My family would like to thank you for providing us the opportunity to ride the beautiful roads around Salmon Arm.  My twin 14 year old girls and I did the 100km route.  Despite the weather we had a fantastic time.  It was their first century.   It was our first time participating in this event.  We absolutely loved the course!!  The girls were so empowered after they finished.  The volunteers were amazing and the great food at the end was a welcome site!!  My husband and 11 year old did the 35km.  It was the first time for my son to be on a road bike…he’s always said he prefers mountain biking.  Well after Saturday he is hooked!! He wants a road bike, wants to learn how to draft and to ride with the rest of our crew.  We all can’t thank you enough for the amazing day our family had together.  We will definitely come back next year and we will bring others along with us!!!” – Elizabeth – Coldstream, BC

“Thank you for a great event. Love the ride, the route, the people, the food! You guys are stars! The volunteers rock! Looking forward to next year’s event!” Jim – Kelowna

“The whole event was awesome. The course was great, it was well marked, the food was good and the draw prizes were great.”

“Loved the ride, the lunch after and the people we encountered. Kudos on the corn. And the tables at lunch made for great interaction with other participants. Please say a special thank-you to all the volunteers… wonderful folks each and every one that we met.”

“I liked the terrain, hilly but not too difficult (75 km) and I liked the food afterward. At my level (age 66) it was nice that it was not competitive.”

“We are new to the Okanagan, heard of your event and signed up.  We were not disappointed even with the rain and a flat.  The routes were planned along roads that were lightly travelled and I saw lots of cyclist support vehicles as well as signage. I am always thankful for the many volunteers who give of themselves to ensure we have a great experience and their work was made that much more challenging with the rain.  Tks to each and every volunteer who either stood at the intersections (with a smile I might add), prepped/served food, cleaned up or performed any of the myriad of taskings such an event requires.”
