The Salmon Arm Bike For Your Life Century Ride is located in Salmon Arm, BC. Salmon Arm is located on Highway #1 half way between Calgary and Vancouver. The City of Salmon Arm is on the southern shore of Shuswap Lake. The area is well known as a paradise for year-round outdoor sports.

The City of Salmon Arm and the Shuswap are surrounded by the Shuswap Highlands. These mountains provide economic benefits through wood harvesting, as well as abundant recreation in the form of mountain biking, cross-country skiing, hunting and motorized sports. The fertile river valleys, many lakes and rich forests of the Shuswap Highlands have provided a diverse economic base for the growth of Salmon Arm since the late 1800’s.
